Lecce, one of Puglia’s most lovely cities, is Lecce Museo a feast of Baroque churches and noble palazzi built within the golden limestone typical of the world. La Fiermontina lies at the threshold of the old town, felicitously set in its own olive grove (complete with out of doors swimming pool) but not more than 10 minutes’ walk to all the principle vacationer sights.
